Thiruvananthapuram: Magician Mani Antony, 58, was selected for the Indrajaala Prathibha Puraskaram instituted by the Academy of Magical Science, here.
A press note said the magician whose professional name is Junior Mandrake would be given the award by Education Minister MA Baby during the last week of February. The prize consists of a cash prize of Rs.10, 000, designed by artist Bhattathiri a memento and a certificate of honor. Mr. Anthony is a student of the revered magician Vazhakkunnam Neelakantan Namboodiri.
